Please read our timings, booking terms, cancellation policy, and guest guidelines carefully before making a reservation.
Timings
Check-in
Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
Check-out
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out up to 2:00 PM may be arranged on request at an extra cost.
Morning Safari Departure
Guests must be ready by 5:45 AM. The safari vehicle departs at 6:00 AM sharp. Latecomers may forfeit their seat.
Evening Safari Departure
Evening safaris depart at 3:30 PM. Return time varies by season and park rules (approx. 6:30 PM).
Dining Hours
Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Lunch: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Dinner: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
Reception
Our front desk is available 24 hours a day for all guest assistance.
Booking & Payments
Advance Deposit
50% of the total booking amount is required at the time of reservation to confirm the booking.
Balance Payment
The remaining 50% is due at check-in. We accept cash, UPI, and major debit/credit cards.
Safari Booking
Safari permits are booked through the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department portal. Availability is limited — advance booking is highly recommended.
Package Inclusions
All packages include accommodation, breakfast, evening tea, and one safari (unless otherwise stated). Additional activities are charged separately.
Group Discounts
Special rates are available for groups of 8 or more. Please contact us directly to request a custom quote.
GST
Applicable GST will be charged over and above the quoted rates as per government regulations.
Cancellation Policy
30+ Days Prior
Full refund of the advance deposit, minus a 5% processing fee.
15–29 Days Prior
50% of the advance deposit will be refunded. The remaining 50% is non-refundable.
7–14 Days Prior
25% of the advance deposit will be refunded. The remaining 75% is forfeited.
Less than 7 Days / No-Show
No refund will be issued. The full advance deposit is forfeited.
Force Majeure
In cases of natural calamities, government curfews, or park closures, bookings may be rescheduled or credits issued at our discretion.
Safari Cancellation
Safari permits once booked through the forest department are non-refundable and non-transferable as per government policy.
Guest Rules & Conduct
Noise Policy
Kohka Wilderness is a nature retreat. Please observe complete silence from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM to respect wildlife and fellow guests.
Wildlife Etiquette
Do not feed, provoke, or approach wildlife. Keep noise minimal during safari. Follow all instructions from your naturalist at all times.
Eco-Responsibility
We are a plastic-free property. Guests are encouraged to use refillable water bottles provided. Do not litter inside or outside the property.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is permitted within the resort premises and in designated areas only. Public intoxication or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate removal.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms and within 20 metres of any wildlife area. Designated smoking zones are marked at the property.
Children & Pets
Children of all ages are welcome. Pets are not permitted on the property to ensure the safety of local wildlife and other guests.
General Terms & Conditions
Valid ID Required
All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. This is mandatory as per local regulations.
Photography & Videography
Personal photography is welcome. Commercial shoots require prior written permission from the management.
Liability
Kohka Wilderness Camp is not liable for personal injury, loss of valuables, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
Damage to Property
Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to resort property during their stay.
Right to Refuse Service
The management reserves the right to refuse accommodation or ask guests to leave for misconduct without any refund.
Governing Law
Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh.
